2. Lubricate the O-rings with refrigeration oil. Place one on the stepper motor and piston assembly and place the other in the
valve body.

3. Place stepper motor and piston assembly into the valve body and make sure the arrowhead marks on them are aligned as
shown below (picture applicable for ETV standard from October 2016 only).

4. For latest version ETV released in October 2016 - Install the four screws and torque them to 4.4 ± 0.4 ft-lb (6.0 ± 0.5 N•m).
For previous reversion ETV(s) - Screw the nut that attaches the stepper motor and piston assembly to the valve body.
5. Connect the main/unified wire harness to the ETV at the four-pin connector/ETV harness wire connector.
6. Pressurize the low side and test for leaks.
7. If no leaks are found, evacuate the low side.
8. Open the refrigeration valves and place the unit in operation.
