Set the monitor to “Operate” mode.
Warning
Measured values prior to initial calibration may not be accurate. Do not use
values prior to initial in vivo calibration for patient management.

When the case has begun and the values have stabilized, complete a calibra-
tion of all measurable blood parameters including; pH, PCO
2
, PO
2
, SO
2
, K
+
,
HCT, and Hgb, by performing an in vivo recalibration.
3 Options:
Change display modes for viewing data (choices are numeric, graphic, or
tabular).
Mark or print data.
Perform in vivo recalibration of the monitor.
Change patient temperature mode.
