While leveling, place a digital level at the center of
the front edge and rear edge of the vessel plate to
check the X-axis (left to right), and, along the left
and right outside edges of the plate to check the Y-
axis (front to back) levelness.

To level, raise the two back feet out of the way and
then adjust the two front feet, and the single foot
under the mast, to achieve a maximum of 0.2
degrees in both directions. Once set, lower the two
back feet that were raised prior to leveling, down to
where they just touch the bench top. Forcing them
down further will change the levelness. Lock the
upper nuts of all five feet to the frame.
