Making carrier-to-noise measurements.
Press MEAS, then select C/N.
The carrier-to-noise measurement screen (Figure 2–13) will be
displayed.

The top line of the screen shows the channel number and frequency
of the channel being measured, along with the instrument mode
(C/N). The function key labels indicate the five presets.
Tuning.
You can use the knob, the numeric keypad, or the presets to
tune the instrument to the channel you want to measure. (For more
information, refer to Tuning on page 2–10 and Presets on page 3–14.)
Digital Channel.
Before making any digital measurements, you must
set up a channel table as described on page 2–17. A sample digital
channel measurement is shown in Figure 2–14. The top measurement
is the average signal power, and the bottom measurement is the ratio
of desired to undesired signal.
