3. Insert the RF input connector through the keyhole in the back part
of the instrument case. To maintain the weather-resistant quality
of the product, be sure to keep the rubber gasket on the end of the
RF connector in place. See Figure 6–7. Secure the RF connector
from the outside of the case by installing first the flat washer,
then the lock washer, and finally the nut. With the 9/16 in
wrench, tighten the nut to 20 in-lbs.
4. Connect the ribbon cable from J10 on the Processor/Power
Supply circuit board assembly to J500 on the Back Board circuit
board assembly.
5. Slip the instrument carrying strap over the two posts on the back
cover of the instrument.
