Scalar frequency response falls within Industry Standard, Bessel-
Thompson reference receiver boundary limits.

Tektronix manufactures and tests the 80C01, 80C02, 80C04, and
80C05 optical modules using 10 GByte reference receivers to have a
new superior and tighter tolerance OC192/STM-64 Reference Receiver
response. ITU experts recently agreed on the minimum performance
specifications for 10 Gbit/s (STM-64/OC-192) optical reference
receivers (San Antonio ITU Study Group 15 February 2000). These
specifications are used to establish system interoperability and test
conformance of optical interfaces to draft ITU-T Recommendation
G.691 which is scheduled to be completed in April 200 (see ITU table
A.1/G.691 from the WD 16-48 document from Study Group 15 dated
February 2000). For convenience, the scalar frequency response of the
output amplitude (for sinusoidal swept optical input) has been
interpreted from the published Bessel-Thompson transfer function and
listed below:
