PROGRAMMING OF THE CODE
For every code the following parameters can be programmed:
z
Name
Description of the code (max. 16 digits), e.g. the name of the
owner of the system.
z
Code
Defines the number value of the code (e.g. 77777).
Warning: The maximum number of digits depends on
the programmed code length. Only the numerical
values are accepted.
z
Type
Defines the function which must be executed by the code.
Select the function from the drop-down menu: arming/
disarming, arming, disarming, by-pass/end of by-pass,
by-pass, end of by-pass.
z
Code length
The control panel accepts codes with 4 to 6-digits.
The default code length is 5 digits.
Warning: The inserted code length is valid for all the
codes of the control panel.
PROGRAMS
Association of the code to the programs.
The code will only be enabled to act on the associated
programs (1 to 8).
To associate a program to the code, click on the corresponding
item.
The program number will be shown as a confirmation of the
association.
Warning: By default, the master code is always enabled to
act on all of the system’s programs.
PROGRAMMING OF THE ATTRIBUTES
To associate the attributes to the code, check the relevant item.
z
Manual communicator block
If the function is enabled, upon disarming of the system with
code, the user code
can
block all the active telephone
channels and those queued up.
By entering #YES all the telephone channels are blocked.
By entering *NO the channels execute the alarm call cycle.
If no key is selected within 8 seconds after disarming (time-
out), the channels execute the alarm call cycle.
z
Automatic communicator block on disarming
If the function is enabled, upon disarming of the system with
code, the active telephone channels and those queued up
are blocked automatically.
z
Hold-up code
If the function is enabled, the user under duress can
apparently disarm the system and simultaneously release a
hold-up alarm by entering a user code the last digit of which
is decreased by one unit. For example, the owner of the
master code, by default 12345, may release a hold-up alarm
by entering 12344.
Warning: If the code ends in 0, the last digit of the
hold-up code must be 9, i.e. 12340 becomes 12349.
When a hold-up code is recognized, a silent alarm is
released and the programmed alarm call cycles are
activated.
Event transmission>”Report code”>” Hold-up code”.
z
By-pass of general alarms
If the function is enabled, the user will be entitled to arm the
system even in the presence of a general alarm (i.e. tamper,
low battery, power failure, supervision, trouble modules)
z
Disabling of remote access
If the function is enabled, the user will
not
be entitled to arm
or disarm the associated programs from a distance by
telephone.
If the item is checked, the remote access by telephone is
disabled.
