3.1.6 OPENING MESSAGE-VOCABULARY
Select the Opening message-vocabulary table.
On the screen is viewed:
The configuration table Opening message-vocabulary permits testing/recording/loading of the opening message used by
the telephone channels during vocal transmissions.
The same menu permits loading or updating of the vocabulary of the control panel.
The opening message precedes each voice message transmitted by the control panel and identifies the alarm system.

Test message (Play)
Permits the reproduction of the programmed message.

Load message from WAV file
Permits downloading of a WAV file (e.g. from hard disk or floppy) and programming it as the opening message.

Record message (sound card)
Permits recording of the opening message using either a microphone and the sound card of the PC and the
Tecnoalarm software, or sound management software installed on the PC, or by telephone during a voice call.
It is possible to use any of the three recording methods.

Vocabulary
Permits the selection of the language of the vocabulary used for the voice messages of the system.
RECORDING OF THE OPENING MESSAGE WITH TECNOALARM SOFTWARE
Connect a microphone to the sound card of your PC and press the button Record message (sound card) to start
recording.
Speak clearly and loudly. On the screen, the opening message recorded will be displayed as a sound wave.
For interruption, press the button
Record message (sound card) again.
The maximum recording time is 16 seconds . Upon expiry of the recording time, recording is automatically stopped.
