3.1.4 ETHERNET
Select the Ethernet table.
On the screen is viewed:
The Ethernet configuration table permits programming of the following parameters:
z
IP address
Permits programming of the control panel IP address. The network address permits identification in an univocal
mode of the control panel connected on the Internet network.
z
Subnet mask
Defines the Subnet mask address which is related to the IP address. The two addresses are automatically
compared and the result determines the direction of the datas sent towards the Gateway (WAN) or the local network
(LAN).
z
Gateway
It is the IP address of a device which connect the local network (LAN) to the extended one (WAN).
It transmits the communication packs to the external local network, therefore it sends the trafic directed to the
exterior towards the Internet network.
LOCAL SERVER TECNOALARM
Check the item to enable/disable the function.
z
Port
TCP/IP communication port of the local Tecnoalarm server channel. Communication port for local programming by
PC. Local connection between PC and control panel.
z
White list
List of 3 acceptable communication addresses. If the white list contains addresses, the communication is
accepted from these addresses. If no address has been programmed (i.e. all 3 addresses are 0-0-0-0), the
communication is accepted from any other address.
REMOTE SERVER TECNOALARM
Check the item to enable/disable the function.

Port
TCP/IP communication port of the remote Tecnoalarm server channel. Communication port for remote programming
by PC. Remote connection between PC and control panel.
z
White list
List of 3 acceptable communication addresses. If the white list contains addresses, the communication is
accepted only from these addresses. If no address has been programmed (i.e. all 3 addresses are 0-0-0-0),
the communication is accepted from any other address.
