AIRTIME REQUEST BY SENDING AN SMS MESSAGE
If the provider offers this kind of service, once the provider number and (the case being) the airtime request by SMS
has been programmed, it is possible to check the remaining airtime as follows:
• Send an SMS message with the text “
CREDIT ” (capital letters) to the telephone number of the prepaid SIM card of
the control panel.
• On reception of the SMS, the control panel queries the service provider for the remaining airtime following the above
procedure.
• On reception of the remaining airtime value, the control panel forwards it by SMS message to the number which
has requested the airtime.

Text of the message for the airtime request (max. 40 digits).

SMS heading
The SMS sent by the control panel are automatically composed by the system. To distinguish the origin of the
messages (sender), it is possible to program an SMS heading (max. 40 digits without accents).
GPRS

Enabling
Permits enabling/disabling functioning of the GRPS channel of the integrated GSM interface.

Port
Enable the Tecnoalarm service. By default 10001.

Access point
Defines the access point to the network.
The GPRS connection is not a telephone connection, but it is rather similar to the Ethernet connection. The
connection is made by means of the Internet network. Therefore, it is necessary to enter the network through an
access point.
The access parameters are provided by the telephone provider.
Warning: Since the access parameters are indicative and may vary according to the telephone operators,
it is recommended to contact the service provider in order to obtain detailed information.

Permits the activation and deactivation of the remote controls by SMS.

COMMANDS-SMS enabling
Check the item to enable the function.

Password (max. 8 alphanumeric digits).
N.B. For security reasons, the control panel only accepts SMS commands with the correct syntax and the
programmed password.
Syntax of SMS commands:
<password><blank space><name/number of the remote control><blank space><command>

White list
List of the telephone numbers which are enabled for the SMS commands.
If at least one telephone number is programmed, the control panel accepts the SMS commands only from the
programmed telephone numbers. If no number is programmed, the control panel accepts the SMS commands from
any telephone number.
Warning: Since the international prefix is not considered, it is redundant. For security reasons, it is
strongly recommended to program the white list in order to limit the access by SMS to a few reliable
people.
