Remove the existing LCB compact flash card from the existing LCB.

Insert the new LCB compact flash card into the new LCB.

Insert the new LCB into the vacant LCB slot on the back of the library.
When inserting the new LCB into the slot, be sure that the LCB LEDs are located at the top of the blade,
and that the latch hooks are on the right side of the blade.
When sliding the new LCB into the slot, there should be no resistance.

After inserting the new LCB, secure it into the control module by depressing both of the LCB latch hooks
into the blade. The LCB will fit snugly into its slot.

Reconnect all cables to the new LCB.

Power on the library.

Check the status of the LCB LEDs. All of its LEDs (blue, amber, and green) should be solidly lit for a
short period of time.

Upgrade your library firmware.
a. Log on to the local operator panel as Admin.
b. Setup the library network on the
Network Configuration
screen.
c. Log off from the local operator panel.
d. Log on to the web client as Admin.
CAUTION
Do not force the LCB into the slot or damage may occur.
