Clean the printer about every month.
Follow these directions.
1.
Turn off and unplug the printer

2.
Open the Top Cover and remove the Toner Cartridge
(B)
.
Do not expose the Toner Cartridge to light for more
than a few minutes.
Cover with a dark cloth if it will be
out of the printer for any length of time!
3.
Using a soft lint-free cloth, gently wipe the internal toner
cartridge area. Reach underneath and wipe off the Laser
Lens as well, especially if vertical streaks have been
appearing on your printouts

4.
Re-insert the Toner Cartridge

5.
Close the Top Cover

6.
Using a clean soft cloth, wipe off any stains or dust from
the printer’s exterior

note:
Do not use strong solvents or abrasive cleansers
on plastic parts of the printer.
7.
If toner marks have been appearing on the back of your
printouts you should also print an Internal Cleaning
Page (see page 57).
