The 550-sheet 2nd Cassette or Tray 3 accommodates 550
sheets of medium weight paper or 40 envelopes. See page 95
for paper types and sizes. Follow these directions for
installing the optional 550-sheet 2nd Cassette:
1.
Turn the printer off and unplug all cables from the
printer

2.
Make sure there is plenty of room around and above the
printer to work. Remove the 550-sheet 2nd Cassette from
its packaging and remove Tray 3 from the Feeder Unit
(B)
.
3.
Put the 550-sheet 2nd Cassette next to the printer and
observe the location of the Feeder Unit’s connector and
tabs

4.
Lift the printer up and align it over the Feeder Unit.
Keeping it level, lower it into place on the posts and
connector
(D)
. Reinsert Tray 3.
5.
Reconnect all cables, then turn the printer ON
