THE STATUS MONITOR
Computers running Windows 95, 98, Me, or Windows 2000
can receive printer status on their screen with the Tally
Xpress T9412 Series Status Monitor. The Status Monitor is
automatically loaded to your computer when you select Easy
Install during your initial installation. But it can be loaded
anytime from the Tally Xpress T9412 Series Solutions CD.
note:
The Status Monitor cannot be used to monitor
printers connected through a network or serial
connection.
You can choose to have the Tally Xpress Status Monitor
displayed in maximized view

or have a minimized icon
appear on the taskbar. The icon does not reflect status
(B)
.
The Status Monitor first comes up in minimized view. To
maximize the view, left-click on the Status Monitor icon
(found on the Windows task bar). For options, right-click on
the icon.
The table below explains messages that can appear in the
maximized Status Monitor.
Use the Preferences tab to choose between
startup Status Monitor views.
