Long Term Shut Down and Start Up
Instructions
Shut down the system
To shut down the system:
1
Save any changes to sample files.

Click Eject and slide open the 8700 LDIR sample door to remove the sample.

Close the instrument sample door.

Close Agilent Clarity software.
5
Turn off the instrument using the power button on the front of the instrument.
The LED indicator on the power button will turn yellow.

Switch off the rear power switch to disconnect the instrument from the mains power source.
The LED indicator will be off.
