11.3.6 - Call Handling - Remind Time
- The Remind
Time allows the system to produce a beep at sched-
uled intervals to alert the extension user that an
intercom or line call is placed on hold. The range of
valid entries is 0 - 10 - 30 - 60 - 90 seconds. A setting
of 0 disables the reminder tone. Press the F3 softkey,
"Chg,” to enter the new setting.
Default:
The Remind Time beep occurs every 30
seconds.

11.3.7 - Call Handling - Pause Time
- For applica-
tions, such as speed dial number, a pause can be
inserted to intentionally delay the dialing of digits
on outgoing CO line calls. By pressing the F3 soft-
key, "Chg,” the pause time may be entered. The
range of valid entries is 1.5 - 2.0 - 3.5 - 5.0 seconds.
Default:
The pause time is 1.5 seconds.

11.3.8 - Call Handling - PBX Code
- This field speci-
fies the PBX code for access to the lines. The access
code can be either one or two digits in length with 0-
9 and 00-99 being valid entries. To change the cur-
rent entry, press the F3 softkey, "Chg,” and enter the
new access code.

After the PBX code is dialed, a fixed pause
time of two seconds is automatically inserted
to allow time for connection with the central
office. Dialing continues after the one second
pause. The PBX code is also ignored by the
system when checking toll restriction for the
number dialed by the extension.
•
For PBX lines, toll restriction tables are
checked only after a PBX Code is entered. If
dialing does not begin with PBX code, toll
restriction tables are not checked.
Default:
The PBX code is 9.
