11.1.4 - Extension - Ring Assignment
- To deter-
mine which extensions ring when an incoming call
is signaling, press the F3, “Show" key.
Each available CO line has a programming
screen. The F3 softkey, "Chg,” acts as a toggle
between “Y” and “N.” Enter “Y” if the line is to ring
at that extension. Or, “N” if the line is prohibited
from ringing at the extension.
It is important to program both the Day and
Night Mode line information. The Ring Assignment
follows the system service mode. If the service mode
is “Day” then the system checks the Ring Assign-
ment/Day Mode programming to determine
whether an incoming line should ring at an exten-
sion.
Default:
In Day mode all extensions ring when
incoming line calls are signaling. In Night mode
only extension 10 rings when incoming line calls are
signaling.

11.1.5 - Extension - Extension Group
- To specify
which extension group an extension belongs, press
the F3 softkey, "Chg". Assigning extensions to exten-
sion groups allows for efficient use of the group call
pickup feature and group paging. The system
allows a maximum of four extension groups.
Default:
All extensions belong to extension group1.
