1.43 User Name Programming
DATABASE PROGRAMMING - 4. RESOURCE - USER NAMES
Each extension may be assigned a specific name for
easy identification. When making an ICM call, if the
name is programmed, it will replace the extension
number on the LCD display. The keysets will dis-
play the programmed name instead of the extension
number in most of call operations.
1.44 Voice Mail
DATABASE PROGRAMMING - 6. CONTROL - VOICE MAIL
The Protegé® 616 provides basic voice mail integra-
tion. Analog extensions can be assigned to a voice
mail hunt group. Calls to the voice mail group will
hunt from the first member to successive members.
Calls will hunt to the next member only if the pre-
ceding member is in a busy or ringing state. Exten-
sion users may have a voice mail key assigned to
their keyset for easy access to voice mail, for trans-
ferring and forwarding calls to voice mail and for
voice mail message waiting indication.
