Component P lacement

S trainer
Mount the strainer in an acc essible area, close to the intake through -
hull that can handle water spi l lage dur in g service. Extra care durin g
assembly mu st be taken to avoid air leaks fro m the strainer. Use the
suppl ied “Quick Block” and wire tie for mountin g.
The fresh water flush module may be located in any convenient loca tion
near th e Feed pump module. It should be mounted with the filter hous-
in g vertical and accessible for chang in g f i lters. A llo w 2” belo w the fi l-
ter housin g for re moval. Do not instal l over electrical equip ment. The
unit contains a charcoal filter for the flush water, shut off valve, and
flush water pressure regu lator.
Feed P ump Module

Mount the fe ed pump module on a hori zontal or vertical sur-
face that can b e up to 3’ (1.0M) abov e th e wat erline. It is
preferable to mount as low as pos sib le. Locate in an area that
allow s easy access to the filters, the left hand side, and where
water spil ls durin g fi lter changes w i ll not be a proble m. Keep
future maintenance in m ind when choos in g a location. The
feed pump has overheat protection and w il l not operate prop-
erly at ambient temperatures over 120F (48C).
