Step
1:

Push
the
“Au
to
Flush”
button
on
the
M
PC
-
5000
display,
when
the
first
flush
has
been
completed,
press
“Stop”
to
canc
el
the
5
day
interval
timer,
then press
“Auto Flush” again.
Step 2:
Open pressure relief valve on the Clark pump.
Step 3: Pour the propylene g
lycol
into a bucket. Follow the instructions on the container.
Step 4: Connect the service intake hose, usin
g the garden hose barb fittin
g from
your service
kit,
to
the
service
port
of
the
boost
pump
module.
Lead
th
e
hose
into
the
bu
cket.
Turn
the
service
valve
on
the
fresh
wat
er
flush
modu
le
180°,
so
the
intake
is
no
w
com
in
g
from
the
bucket.
Step
5
:
Set
the
sw
itch
on
the
pump
modu
le
to
“Service
System”
to
turn
on
the
feed
pump.
Pump
as
much
of
the
wa
ter
remaining
ins
ide
the
water
maker
overboard
as
possible.
Run
the
feed
pump
until
you
see
antifreeze
be
gin
to
appear
in
the
brine
overboard
hose.
Set
the
switch to “Run Auto”
to stop the f
eed pump.
Step
6
:
Remove
the
quick
d
isconnect
fitting
from
the
br
ine
dischar
ge
outlet
of
the
Clark
pump,
and
replace
with
the
quick
disconnec
t
hose
from
your
service
kit,
and
lead
the
hose
to the buck
et.
Step
7:
Set
the
switches
to
“Service
Sy
stem”
and
“Flush
Auto”
to
circulate
the
an
tifreeze
for about ten minutes.
Clean Up:
Remove the quick d
isconnect from the C
lark pu
mp br
ine di
scharge, and rep
lace the ori
gina
l
hose that leads to the
thru
-
hull. You
may at this point,
if you choose to, pump the bucket dry
by usin
g the feed pump sw
itch. Stop when the bucket is empty.
Turn the service valve 180° back to its ori
gina
l pos
ition, and remove the service hose.
Turn off the power to the system and the M
PC control.
