Step
1:

Push
the
“Au
to
Flush”
button
on
th
e
MPC
-
5000
display,
when
the
first
flush
has
been
completed,
press
“Stop”
to
cancel
the
5
day
interval
timer,
then press
“Auto Flush” again.
Step
2
:
Remove
the
quick
di
sconnect
fitting
fro
m
the
brine
d
ischarge
out
let
of
the
Clark
pump,
and
replace
with
th
e
quick
disconnec
t
hose
from
your
service
kit,
and
le
ad
th
e
hose
to a 5 gallon bucket.
Step
3:
Push
the
“Auto
Store
but
ton:
to
fill
the
bucket
with
1
gallons
of
fresh
unchlori-
nated wat
er. When
the buck
et has re
ach
ed the d
esired level Push the
“Stop” button
Step
4:
Connect
the
hose,
using
the
garden
hose
barb
fitting
from
your
service
kit,
to
the
service
port
of
th
e
boost
pump
module.
Lead
the
hose
into
the
buck
et.
Turn
th
e
service
valve on the boost pump module 180
°, so the intake is now co
min
g fro
m the bucket.
Step 5:
Mix the storage chem
ical compound
into the water in the bu
cket.
Step 6:
Make sure the pressure relief valve on the Clark pump is Open (unpressur
i
zed).
Step
7:
Set
the
switch
on
the
pump
module
to “Service
System”
to
turn
on
the
feed
pump.
Circulate
the
storage
chemical
in
the
system
for
approximately
10
minutes.
Set
the
switch
to
“Run
Auto” when finished.
Clean Up:
Remove
the
quick
di
sconnect
from
the
Clark
pu
mp
br
ine
di
s-
charge,
and
replace
the
orig
inal
hose
that
leads
to
the
thru
-
hul
l.
You
may
at
this
point,
if
you
choose
to,
pu
mp
the
bucket
dry
by
u
sin
g
the
feed
pump
switch.
Stop when the bucket is empty.
Turn the service valve 180° back to its ori
gina
l pos
ition, and remove the service hose.
Turn off the power to the system and the M
PC control.
