The me mbrane maxi mu m temperature specification is 120F. Th is modu le must be instal led in
an area tha t maintains a temperature below 120F (50C). A cool location i s preferable. It may
be placed as high in the boat as you desire. Make sure that the ar ea around and und er the pump
does not have any water sensitive equ ipment. Water wi l l be sp i lled durin g any repairs or if a
leak occurs.
Be sure you wil l have access to the pr essure relief valve on the Clark pump.
The Clark pu mp/membrane modu le comes comp lete with a mount in g system. Be sure to use the
suppl ied washers on the rubber feet. U se it as a temp late for dri ll in g the mount ho les. You may
mount the Clark Pump in any posit ion, even upside down.
The Clark pump and membrane assemb ly has been pre - assembled at the fa ctory. If it is nec-
essary to disas semb le this modu le and mount the pressure vesse l remotely use gu idel ines in
back of the manual. Use only approved tubin g for asse mbly.

Note: If your machine i s equipped w ith the optional Z - brane, see
the Z - brane Installation and Operation section of this manual for
instructions on instal lin g the Z - brane anodes into the membrane
end plug s. Th is should be done before instal lin g the Clark Pump/
Membrane Module.
