Appendix B: The DPACL File
The DPACL file is an edit file located in the same volume and subvolume as the
XYGATEDP object file. The DPACL file contains security and encryption settings for
the application files that are being protected by XDP. There are three different types of
groups in the DPACL file: ACLGroups, DPGroups and ENCRYPTION_Groups.
Important!
The DPACL file is evaluated in a top-to-bottom order. Put the most
specific rules at the top of the file and the most general rules at the bottom of the file
because if a match is found, the search stops.
