A19: ENCRYPT_SEND_TIMEOUT
This keyword controls how long XDP will wait for an encryption server to finish an
encryption operation before it times out. A value of 0 disables the timeout; values from
5 to 32767 are the number of seconds that XDP will wait before a timeout occurs.
Syntax:
ENCRYPT_SEND_TIMEOUT <value>
Example:
ENCRYPT_SEND_TIMEOUT 60
A20: EXPLAIN_LOG
XDP can produce a log, which contains information about its rulings on access
requests similar to the What-if output. If the keyword EXPLAIN_LOG is used and a
valid filename is entered, XDP will write access attempt outcomes and their
explanations including the DPGroup rules applied to this log. The argument to this
keyword is the name of the file where these explanations will be written.
Important!
The EXPLAIN_LOG must be a filename. You cannot write the
EXPLAIN_LOG to a SPOOLER. If you write to a SPOOLER, a deadlock can occur,
hanging the system. XYPRO does not recommend the use of an Explain Log.
XDP will write to the LOG file you specified in the DPCONF file only in the production
mode. If you want to test the output in the Test mode, then you can redirect the output
to the filename.
Syntax:
EXPLAIN_LOG <filename>
The following Example writes the explain log to a file called EXPL0912.
Example: How to designate an Explain Log
EXPLAIN_LOG $SYSTEM.XYGATEDP.EXPL0912
Note:
EXPLAIN_LOG can potentially produce very large quantities of output and take
a lot of system overhead, which can slow system performance. It should only be
undertaken when testing new entries or trouble-shooting a problem.
