DPACL File
DPCONF File
DPCONFAP File
This file is created in each subvolume where XDP-enabled application objects reside.
The file provides information that the XDP library needs to initialize access to XDP.
Refer to
section 2.2
, “The DPCONFAP (XDP Init) File.”
Format-Preserving Encryption (FPE)
FPE from Voltage Security, Inc. is a form of symmetric encryption that encrypts
plaintext of some specified format into ciphertext of the same format. For example,
using FPE you can encrypt a 16-digit, plaintext credit-card number into a 16-digit
ciphertext number. The ciphertext will have exactly the same format as the plaintext
being encrypted without sacrificing encryption strength. No database schema changes
and minimal application changes are required.

Voltage Security
®
, Inc is the developer of the encryption technology used by XDP to
allow legacy applications to be made Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant.
Voltage Key Server
Voltage Secure Stateless Tokenization (SST)
SST from Voltage Security, Inc. is a new “stateless” tokenization technology that
removes the need for storage of cardholder or other sensitive data central to other
tokenization solutions. The Voltage SST tokens cannot be related back to the original
sensitive data and thus help assure protection of payment card data by enterprises,
merchants and payment processors.
