XDP_EDIT_ACL 

This macro allows you to edit the DPACL file. It first creates a copy of the file called 
NEWDPACL which you can change using EDIT as usual. When you finish and exit 
EDIT, you will choose whether or not to put the new changes into effect by loading the 
new file. 

Syntax: 

XDP_EDIT_ACL 

If you do not want to load the file now, you can load it later using the 

XDP_UPDATE_ACL

 macro. 

If you choose yes, XDP compiles the DPACL file and DPCONF file , creates a 
compiled configuration file called DPCONB file and sends a request to the XYGATEDP 
monitor process to load the DPCONFB file. The NEWDPACL is renamed to DPACL. 
The previous DPACL is renamed to OLDACLnnn, where nnn is an incrementing three-
digit number. 

Twenty iterations of the OLDACLnnn file will be saved in the XDP subvolume. 

Example: How to use the XDP_EDIT_ACL macro to alter the DPACL file
