Note:
If you received a license file from HPE named P99Fnnn (where nnn is either 001
or your customer number), place a copy of the license file P99F001 in the
distribution location (DSV) whose default value is $SYSTEM.ZXYPRODP.
Before you begin running the INSTALL macro, review the installation issues pertaining
to the DPCONF and DPCONAP files described in sections
1.2.1
Running the Host INSTALL Macro to Install XDP
The Example INSTALL macro run shown below is done with the following
assumptions:
The XDP installation location is on $WORK.ZXYPRODP.
XDP will be administered by the Security Administrator that has the
SECURITY.ADMIN userid.
$WORK.ZXYPRODP is where the INSTALL macro is located.
$SYSTEM.XYGATEDP is where the XDP software will be installed.
If you received a license file from HPE named P99Fnnn (where nnn is either 001 or
your customer number), place a copy of the license file, named IP64F001, into the
$WORK.ZXYPRODP subvolume before beginning the installation.
$WORK.ZXYPRODP>
FUP DUP <license-loc>.P99F001,IP64F001,SOURCEDATE
To begin installing XDP, login with a Security Administrator userid, and enter the
following at the TACL prompt.
$DATA.SECURITY 1>
VOLUME $WORK.ZXYPRODP
When you run the INSTALL macro for the initial installation or a subsequent upgrade,
you will be prompted with questions about how and where to install XDP. Pay close
attention to the questions as they can vary from the example shown based on your
answers to previous questions (and your current configuration if you are upgrading).
Within the INSTALL macro, default values for each prompt are shown within angle
brackets < >. To accept the default, simply press
Enter
(
). To change the value,
enter the appropriate value and press
Enter
(
). The example below shows a
complete initial installation.
Example: A Sample INSTALL
$WORK ZXYPRODP 463>
run install
You will be asked a series of questions about the installation
of XYGATEDP. You may abort the install process at any prompt
by hitting the BREAK key.
Prompts that end with a string within angle brackets mean
that just hitting the return key will use that default value.
