Appendix A: The DPCONF File
An edit file named DPCONF, which configures global values, is kept in the same
volume and subvolume as the XYGATEDP object file. The DPCONF file contains the
keywords that define the external (global) functionality of the XDP process, such as
where and what records are audited.
Important! Many of the keywords in the DPCONF file set the general condition of the
software execution and can be overridden at the DPACL level for individual groups of
userids. That is, the same keyword entered in the DPACL file takes precedence over
the DPCONF file. Refer to Appendix B: “
The DPACL File ” starting on page 79.
