Safety Integrated Extended Functions
Safety Integrated Extended functions generally require a license. The following Safety
Integrated Extended functions are available:

require a Safe Brake Relay, which is supported from V4.1 SP4.

Control
The Safety Integrated functions are fully integrated into the drive system. They can be
activated as follows:

Via terminals on the Control Unit and on the power unit (STO, SBC, SS1 only)
●
Via terminals on the TM54F Terminal Module
●
Via PROFIBUS with PROFIsafe (D410 DP only)
●
via PROFINET with PROFIsafe (only D410 PN, from SIMOTION V4.2)
