Configuring HiPath BizIP properties

Changing the user password

Users can define a separate user password for each BizIP 410 telephone,
protecting the telephone from unauthorized access.

Properties of the user password:
•

To activate the password function, the password must consist of six
digits that are not

000000

•

The password must always be entered to access the answer machine
(even if the password is

000000

). The user password for the answer

machine is "code number".

•

It is only necessary to enter the password to access the following
menus if the password is not

000000

– 7=Setup

2=Configuration

– 7=Setup

3=Local functions

•

It is only possible to block the telephone (

3=Lock phone

ing Manual) if the password is not

000000

•

Deleting a station

Page 102 resets the relevant user password.

•

The user password can also be changed by the user at any time. For a
