Security for your HiPath BizIP

Use the options provided to operate your HiPath BizIP securely. This can 
include, for  example, adapting the firewall to your requirements or block-
ing certain phone numbers for individual telephones.

Changing the administration password 

You can change the password for entering the administration area at the 
telephone and PC (Web access).

Changing the password

1. Enter the current administrator password under

2. Enter the new administrator password under 

New password

. The 

password must consist of six numbers.

3. Repeat the new administrator password under 

Confirm new password

4. Click 

Submit

 to incorporate your data.

Change the standard administration password at earliest possible 
opportunity in order to prevent unauthorized access to the adminis-
tration area.

The new administrator password will apply after the next attempted 
login.
