Configuring dynamic routing

Activating/deactivating dynamic routing. The
Enabled
option activates
the following settings.

Select the supported version of the routing information protocol under
RIP Version
.

Select the mode for which dynamic routing is to apply under
LAN
and
Public-Network
(the definable connection name is displayed as the
name):

None
(RIP data is neither sent nor received).

Inbound
(RIP data is received but not sent).

Outbound
(RIP data is sent but not received).

All
(RIP data is sent and received).
Click
Apply
to apply the changes.
It only makes sense to use
RIP
if HiPath BizIP is operated in con-
junction with other routers that support dynamic routing.
RIP does not need to be configured in any other case.
