Activating/deactivating remote access 

To enable you to administer the BizIP AD 20 outside your LAN, you can ac-
tivate corresponding access. To protect access from the Internet, an IP ad-
dress and/or subnet mask must always be specified.

1. Under 

Administration

 option to enable adminis-

tration from outside the LAN by means of a Web interface.

2. Enter the 

Remote host IP 

and/or 

Remote netmask

 (address band) of 

the external PC from which access is to be made.
If you want to enable remote access from any IP address, then enter 
0.0.0.0 as the IP address and subnet mask.

Click 

Apply

 to apply your changes.

Please note that by activating remote service access you will in-
crease the risk of misuse by unauthorized persons. 
Only activate this type of access if you really need it, and deactivate 
it immediately after use.
