SELECT
Active Function
Description
---
Selects on-screen menu items and assigns trackball control to on-screen tools (for example,
Doppler gate or distance measurement tools).
When a tool is active, the trackball pointer (cursor) is not visible. Press
SELECT
to redisplay
the pointer.
When the trackball is assigned to the pointer function, the
SELECT
key is equivalent to the left
mouse button on a personal computer.
Imaging
When the cursor is positioned over the image area, activates the pointer or the default tool for
the active mode (for example,
2D FOV
).
When the cursor is positioned over the image menu, activates a menu selection.
Press
SELECT
twice to display the selected thumbnail in review in a full-screen format.
Measurement
When the cursor is positioned over the image area, anchors a measurement caliper and
generates the next caliper for positioning.
When the cursor is positioned over the measurement menu, selects a measurement tool (for
example, Distance, Volume, or Velocity), measurement label, or body marker.
Review
Selects images or tools.
Select an image and press
SELECT
to activate the clinical software program compatible with
the selected image.
Patient browser
Press
SELECT
twice to display the selected series object (subfolder within a study folder) in
review in a 4:1 display format.
Annotation
Anchors the position of the directional arrow or annotation.
Body Marker
Anchors the position of the body marker or transducer marker.
