Patient Data
Selection
Enter
Last Name
Patient's last name.
If a last name is not entered, then the system generates the name "Unknown."
Note:
The patient name (first, middle, and last combined) is limited to 60 characters.
First Name
Patient's first name.
Middle Name
Patient's middle name.
Patient ID
Identification code for the patient.
If an identification (ID) code is not entered, then the system generates a unique
identifier starting with the system date and time.
This ID code displays on the image screen. If there is not enough space for the entire
code to display on the image screen, a portion of the code is displayed followed by
three dots (…).
Date of Birth
Patient's date of birth using the date format selected in the system configuration menu.
When you enter or change this value, the system calculates and displays the patient's
age.
If a date of birth is not entered before the examination is completed, then the system
generates the date of birth

, but does not display this date on the form.
Age
The system automatically calculates and displays the patient's age based on the
patient's date of birth, if entered.
Sex
(gender)
Patient's gender.
If

Female
is not selected, then the system assigns the gender based on the
study selected, for example, OB displays

Height
Patient's height using the measurement system (metric or feet/inches) selected in the
system configuration menu.
Weight
Patient's weight using the measurement system (metric or pounds) selected in the
system configuration menu.

Patient's blood pressure.

Patient Body Surface Area (BSA) in m

. The system automatically calculates the BSA
(based on height and weight entries) and transfers the value to the patient report.
