Virtual Touch IQ Option
(Available only on the ACUSON S2000 system and the ACUSON S3000 system)
Compatible transducer: 9L4
Supported studies: Breast, Thyroid
Uses acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) technology of diagnostic ultrasound to induce
tissue displacement
Qualitatively depicts shear velocity for a selected region of interest on a 2D image
Provides quantitative measurements of shear velocity (Vs) and elasticity (E) for selected
points within the region of interest
Provides shear velocity and elasticity measurement labels for the breast and thyroid exams
Supports all basic measurements in either a full-screen format or a dual-screen format
3-Scape Real-Time 3D Imaging Option
WARNING:
To avoid technique-related artifacts, you must be thoroughly familiar with the
techniques of 3D and 4D imaging. Read the entire 3D and 4D imaging chapter before using the
3-Scape real-time 3D imaging or
four
Sight 4D ultrasound imaging technology.
The 3D imaging feature is a system option that allows the acquisition of three-dimensional
ultrasound images. MultiPlanar Rendering (MPR) provides a view of each segment of the
volume as an arbitrary slice.
Real-time reconstruction after free-hand acquisition
MultiPlanar Rendering demonstrates imaging planes not accessible with normal scanning
techniques
