Probe length is type dependant and is printed on the nameplate and order information.

maximum lengths of specific probe models.
Level Offset (Lvl Ofst)
Level Offset is the distance from the probe tip to the desired zero level point. Enter
desired reading when probe is dry. (User password)
Offset Description
The parameter referred to as Lvl Ofst in the SITRANS LG200 menu is the desired level
reading when liquid surface is at the end of the probe. The LG200 transmitter is shipped
from the factory with Lvl Ofst set to 0. With this configuration, all measurements are
referenced from the bottom of the probe. See Example 1.
