After a delay the encoder appears both in

Request History

and in

Relation List

with the IP

address entered. After one minute or four unsuccessful requests the default IP address
192.168.1.123 is set.
The Mod LED on the AFS60/AFM60 EtherNet/IP illuminates green continuously (the
encoder now has a valid IP address).

Checking the integration in EtherNet/IP via RSLinx Classic

With the aid of the tool

RSLinx Classic

you can again check whether the IP address set is

detected by the control system.

(as a rule on the Start menu on your PC/notebook in

Click on the

button in the program.

Then open the path AB_ETHIP
