[Work Shift Setting Mode]
This mode allows for specific production shift information to be printed on a label when used with the
SBPL command.
The setting items are as follows:
[1] to [3]
Set the work shift start time and name of the specified work shift code.
You can set up to three shifts depending on the number of work shifts required in the field. For
example, if two shifts are required, set work shift number 1 and 2.
The setting items are as follows:
[Shift Code]
Enable or disable the work shift setting mode.
[Shift Time]
Set the work shift start time.
Available only if you have selected [Enabled] in the [Shift Code] menu.
The setting range is from "00:00" to "23:59".
[Shift Name]
Set a name for the work shift.
Available only if you have selected [Enabled] in the [Shift Code] menu.
The number of characters you can set is as follows:
ASCII: 16 characters
[Ribbon Tension Adjustment]
Adjust the delay in the timing of the platen roller drive against the ribbon rewind shaft drive. If ribbon
smudging (marks from the friction of the carbon ribbon and the label surface) is observed, the setting
can be adjusted to reduce that.
When you decrease the setting value, the ribbon tension is increased.
When you increase the setting value, the ribbon tension is decreased.
Appears only if you have selected [Use Ribbon] in the [Printing Mode] menu on the combined direct
thermal/thermal transfer model.
The setting range is from 0 to 15 regardless of the printing resolution.
[Printing Operations]
Set detailed printing operations.
The setting items are as follows:
[Throughput Mode]
Enable or disable the throughput mode.
When this setting is enabled, the interval from backfeed to forward feed or from forward feed to
backfeed is shortened, and the throughput is improved.
