component drop-off or loose due to shipment.
2.2.4 Power-on test
After above checks, do power-on test as specified in 2.4.2, and verify whether power supply
and basic functions (such as button and indication functions) of the control unit operate normally
without connecting any peripheral equipment.
2.2.5 External device and wiring check
Check the bus condition connected and measure the insulation resistance between different
loops, bus and ground, as well as load condition. Wherein, insulation resistance should be higher
than 20MΩ and loop impedance should be lower than 40Ω.
Check the status of loop devices with debugging device, that is, whether device number,
coding and operating status comply with the design requirements, to eliminate existing faults and
get ready for system connection.
Connect peripheral equipment or connecting line of the system into input terminal of the
control panel, and see instructions on the label for definitions of each terminal. The contact shall
be good condition. Check with a multimeter that it is free of short circuit or open circuit.
