communication distance and low rate, the data packages
received are far less than the ones sent during bus quality check,
and the host networking is abnormal.
The networking of 9100 series host adopts a relevant advanced CAN BUS protocol at
the current, which requires serial connection of networked hosts only and prohibits star
connection. Besides, the protocol asks for the setup of a 120Ω terminal resistance at both the
beginning and the end of the networking without too much terminal resistance in between, to
ensure a high-speed and reliable networking bus.
Problem: The host reports short/open circuit of Loop XX of
IO-board XX.
The 9100 series host will automatically report short/open circuit of Loop XX of IO-board
XX if it really exists. There are 4 LEDs on the IO-board, the green one for power indication
lights normally; the red one flashes to indicate CAN communication; two yellow ones indicate
open/short circuit of loop 1 and loop 2 respectively. Two phenomenons for open circuit: open
circuit of the entire loop, and partially open. The evident for partially open is that there are 20
points missing in one loop.
