1.4 System components
As shown in Figure 1-1, the fire alarm control system mainly consists of the followings:
Main control unit
The main control unit is responsible for processing and analyzing the data transmitted from
other parts, and commanding, based on results of data analysis, other parts in the system to
execute accordingly, such as controlling the buzzer to sound for fire.
Display component
The display component provides main output interface for alarm message and routine
maintenance and query interface.
Input device
The system transplants the computer standard peripheral interface, panel buttons or
USB-interfaced keyboard / button as input devices, which brings much convenience for the
user to set up and maintain the system.
Power supply equipment
The power supply equipment is used for all internal equipment in the whole system. The
system adopts the special firefighting equipment power with DC 24V output, which can
provide alarm or feedback signals, such as main fault, battery fault, battery low-voltage and
battery charging, and has good immunity to interference.
Loop board
The loop board drives the bus of detector/module which includes two loops per single board.
And each loop can drive 324 addressable detectors or modules.
Fire detector
The system can connect in the compatible addressable smoke detector, heat detector or
multi-sensor detector, such as JTY-GD-930, JTW-ZD-920, and etc.
I/O module, sounder strobe, MCP and fire hydrant MCP
The compatible intelligent modules can be connected in the system: JK-952 input module,
JS-951 input module, KZ-953 output module, KZJ-956 I/O module, SG-991 sounder strobe,
J-SAP-M-960 manual call point (MCP) and J-SAP-M-961 fire hydrant MCP.
Manual control unit for bus device
Each manual control unit includes 30 buttons, each one corresponds to an I/O module on the
bus. When enabled, pressing a button can control an I/O module to start/stop.
Multi-wire equipment control unit
Each unit of DX900-05A involves 5 points of critical multi-wire equipment, such as, fire pump.
Printer
The system is equipped with a dedicated micro-printer (hereinafter referred to printer) as
standard, which can print alarm, feedback and fault messages for future reference.
Fire indicating panel
The fire-indicating panel is also called floor-indicating panel and its application is expanded in
the system, which can be used as both "building indicating panel" and "floor indicating panel".
The model compatible to this system is JB-FSD-982E.
