3.2.2 Panel start-up
The power supply required for normal operation of the system is AC 220V±20%, 50Hz. The
equipment must be well grounded. After confirmation of these operating environments, power
on and start up. The figure below will display:
Fig 3- 6 Initializing interface
During the period, the system will check and load the data required for system running and
set the external equipment as required. The current initializing steps will be displayed in the
status bar. The process will take 10-20s and then it will enter normal state of time display.
Note: 1. Fire or fault condition might be delayed because of the time needed for
confirmation and verification algorithm. In this system, the maximum delay for fire is 5s,
for fault 100s. Therefore, it may prompt “System running normally” when there exist
certain fault or fire at panel start-up.
2. The time needed for initialization depends on the number of external devices
connected. When there is much external equipment, the time will increase accordingly.
3.2.3 User login
The users may operate the functions authorized with its identity after logging in.
The users may be divided into four categories based on different operating authorization:
Super user:
designer of the system
(8-digital password)
System debugger:
personnel doing commissioning
(8-digital password)
System administrator:
personnel for system maintenance (6-digital password)
Staff on duty:
personnel on duty at the fire control room
(4-digital password)
Note: The user classification aims to preventing possible mal-operation and facilitating system
maintenance and management.
The Staff-on-duty is not allowed to enter the system setup interface but can log in, check and
operate through the panel keyboard only.
Caution: The system will record the operation content of each user to facilitate
the responsibility tracing; therefore the password shall be kept strictly
confidential and carefully managed and be kept away from irrelevant
personnel.
