7.5 Assigning a Reference Marker
– external marker
1. Determine the lane into which the reference marker will be loaded.
2. In the protocol editor, enter the reference lane number into the
“Reference Lane” field.
Click “APPLY REFERENCE TO ALL LANES”.

shows the proper settings for
running a DNA marker in lane 1, with programmed “Tight” extractions in lanes 2-5.
