To
configure the keypanel for Unicode operation
, do the following:
1.
On the keypanel, select
Service|Alphas|8 Chars (Unicode)|Save and Restart
.
NOTE:
If using the keypanel with Japanese firmware, you must also configure the correct Intercom Mode. See
“Service Menu, Intercom Mode” on page 228.
2.
From the Options menu in AZedit, select
Preferences
.
The Application Preferences window appears.
3.
Select the
Advanced
tab.
The Advanced page appears.
4.
Select the
Allow intercom resizing in ONLINE mode
check box.
5.
Click
Apply
.
6.
Click
OK
.
The Application Preferences window closes.
IMPORTANT:
You are about to erase the entire intercom setup! Be sure to save your file.
7.
From the Options menu, select
Intercom Configuration
.
The Intercom Configuration window appears
.
8.
Click the
Options
tab.
The Options page appears.
