Connecting the OverDrive Production Control System to the Synergy Switcher

port on the back of the Synergy frame.

4. Connect and secure the other

Frame Interface Cable

 to the other 

available com port on the RS-422 card of the OverDrive Computer. Refer to your 
OverDrive documentation for more information.

This completes the procedure for connecting an OverDrive Production Control System to the Synergy 
switcher. Refer to the section “

OverDrive Communications Setup

” on page 12–11 for instructions 

on how to set up communications protocols on the Synergy switcher.
