2.4. Flushing programs
2.4.1 Flushing EN 806-4
To fl ush drinking water installations with water, with water-air mixture with inter-
mittent compressed air and with water-air mixture with constant compressed
air, ROLLER’S Multi-Control must be connected to the water supply or the
manifold of the installation (Fig. 3) as follows:
To fl ush drinking water pipes after the house connection (water meter) (Fig. 3),
fi t the ROLLER’S fi ne fi lter (12) (Art. No. 115609) with fi lter cartridge 90 µm.
Connect the suction/pressure hose (13) to the fl ushing supply (14) after the
fi ne fi lter. Fit the second suction/pressure hose (13) to the fl ushing drain (Fig.
4 (15)) and connect to the installation to be fl ushed.
2.4.2 Flushing
Proceed accordingly as in 2.4.1 and (Fig. 5) to fl ush/desilt heating systems.
However, it is necessary to fi t a system separator in accordance with EN
1717:2000 after the house connection (water meter) (Fig. 5) to prevent contam-
ination of drinking water by fl owback. Do not use suction/pressure hoses for
drinking water lines any more after they have been used for heating systems.
