Measuring channel or calibration with calibration sheet faults
No. Cause
Remedy
141
Measuring channel 1:
Sensor gap has decreased since
calibration
• Check sensor gap at meas. station 1
• Eventually perform a measuring channel
calibration.
• Use a calibration sheet with correct thickness,
142
Sensor gap has increased since
calibration
143
Measuring channel 2:
Sensor gap has decreased since
calibration
• Check sensor gap at meas. station 2
• Eventually perform a measuring channel
calibration.
• Use a calibration sheet with correct thickness,
144
Sensor gap has increased since
calibration
145
Measuring channel 3:
Sensor gap has decreased since
calibration
• Check sensor gap at meas. station 3
• Eventually perform a measuring channel
calibration.
• Use a calibration sheet with correct thickness,
146
Sensor gap has increased since
calibration

Measuring channel calibration faults
No. Cause
Remedy
150
Measuring channel 1:
Sensors connected do not
provide any measurement value
• Make sure that a calibration sheet is placed
between the sensors
• The sensors might be contaminated
151
Measuring channel 2:
152
Measuring channel 3:
153
Measuring channel 1:
Timing PLC- interface is faulty
during calibration
Check timing diagrams concerning calibration
(see chapters 6.3.7 and 6.3.8)

Hardware faults
No. Cause
Remedy
171
Hardware does not fit to Software / Firmware.
Install correct Firmware.
172
Display defective
Call Roland service / exchange the system.
173
Measuring channel 1 at 3 channel:
The sensor type set in configuration is not identical with
the connected sensor
Set the correct sensor type in the configuration of
the unit,
174
Measuring channel 1 at 1 channel,
Measuring channel 2 at 2 channel: The sensor type set in
configuration is not identical with the connected sensor
175
Measuring channel 3 at 3 channel:
The sensor type set in configuration is not identical with
the connected sensor
9.9
Supply voltage faults
No. Cause
Remedy
176
Operating voltage was below 20 VDC.
Check power supply.
177
Voltage at PLC inputs / outputs is too low.
Check power supply for PLC inputs / outputs
if required switch off PLC voltage monitoring in the
system parameters.
If the fault message 177 appears due to a mis-set system configuration, then simultaneously press for several seconds
all 4 operating keys and thus call up the configuration menu directly, and set the correct values there. Only then the fault
conditions are removed.
