Program parameter 4:
Specifying the material of the sheets to be measured.
Fig. 41: Selection of material to be measured
Possible choices:
• Fe (ferrous):
Magnetic material.
• NF (non-ferrous): Nonmagnetic material (e.g. Aluminum, austenitic Stainless Steel)
with known conductivity.
• NF?:
Nonmagnetic material (e.g. Aluminum, austenitic Stainless Steel)
with unknown conductivity. During Teach-In, the system determines
by itself the conductivity of the material between the sensors.
The user will be asked whether the conductivity is to be determined
now or at a later time.
Program parameter 5:
Setting the percentage threshold of the lower limit value.
Fig. 42: Adjusting the upper limit
Value range: between 0% and 99% of the nominal value, with simultaneously displaying the
absolute limit value.
Program parameter 6:
Setting the percentage threshold of the upper limit value.
Fig. 43: Adjusting the lower limit
Value range: between 100% and 180% of the nominal value, with simultaneously displaying the
absolute limit value.
