5. Trans-hybrid adjustment:

a.

Connect a FSVM to the RX Out BNC on the rear of the 9508 RF chassis and set to
transmit frequency.

b.

Adjust S1, R1 and L1 on the FSVM for minimum level. Jumpers J1 through J9 and J13
through J22 on the 9508 Line Board can be strapped in varying combinations to improve
loss if desired.

c.

A level of at least 30dB less than transmit level out should be achieved. The lower the
level achieved the better.
